Qatar Teams Up with Scale AI to Supercharge Government Services with AI

Qatar is taking a big leap into the future with a new five-year partnership with Scale AI, a top AI data company from San Francisco. This game-changing collaboration will bring AI-powered tools and training into government operations, boosting public services and driving the country’s digital transformation forward.

Trevor Thompson, Scale AI’s Global Head of Growth, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating that it could serve as a “blueprint for other governments around the world.” He emphasized the potential for rapid impact through this committed collaboration. While financial details remain undisclosed, the agreement outlines the development of over 50 AI applications tailored for various government functions over the next five years. These applications are expected to introduce predictive analytics, automation, and advanced data analysis, thereby streamlining operations and enhancing service delivery.

Founded in 2016, Scale AI specializes in providing large volumes of accurately labeled data essential for training AI systems. The company’s expertise has been instrumental for clients such as Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, and AI innovators like OpenAI.
